CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK HOSPITALS

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals) is a North American non-profit organization that raises funds for Children’s Hospitals, medical research, and community awareness of children’s health issues. Here at the Rho Delta Chapter of Phi Mu we have done different types of dinners to raise money for CMN Hospitals such as Cheesin’ for the Children, Phiner late night dinner, Miracle Week, and Carnival Food Fest. Along with participating in the Miracle Treat Day at Dairy Queen. 

PHI MU FOUNDATION

Phi Mu Foundation offers members and friends the opportunity of tax advantages for gifts benefiting Phi Mu. Establishing and managing permanently endowed scholarships and other funds. To foley concentrate on fundraising activities and the stewardship of donors. To fund and oversee the collection and preservation of Phi Mu’s history. To allow the opportunity for Phi Mu sisters to help one another through emergency scholarships and financial assistance to members in need and To promote annual and capital campaigns, including the capital campaign to build Phi Mu’s National Headquarters in Peachtree City, GA. The Rho Delta Chapter Donates $18.52 for each Chapter Member, along with holding a dinner fundraiser such as Soups, Salads, and Bread Sticks or Blaze. We even held a service/ sisterhood event creating care packages for sisters that had been hit with a Natural Disaster.  

R.I.S.E. ADVOCACY INC.

R.I.S.E. Advocacy, Inc. (formerly Women’s Aid Service) provides support services for survivors of both domestic violence and sexual assault. The services are always free, and at R.I.S.E. they do not discriminate. All individuals are welcomed and served, including people of all genders, sexual orientations, races, ethnicities, ages, or abilities. They can be reached 24/7/365 by calling their crisis line. Rho Delta has taken R.I.S.E as a new addition for a local Philanthropy and each Winter we have adopted a family, sometimes more than one. Providing them with gifts from their Christmas list. Along with having sisters regularly volunteering there. 

GREEK WEEK AT CMU

CMU Greek Week is a long-standing tradition in the CMU fraternity and sorority community since 2000. It is a fun week-long initiative, that occurs in the spring semester, to raise awareness and monies for local charitable organizations. In 2017 is community chose to raise money and awareness from the Isabella County Child Advocacy Center and the Kristy Malter Memorial Fund, 2018 was the Women’s Aid Shelter and Special Days Camp, 2019 was the Isabella County Restoration House (ICRH) and Parents United to Stop Hazing (PUSH). For the Spring of 2020 was the Strickler Center and HATS (Humane Animal Treatment Society).
