Sisterhood is an important part of being in a sorority. It fosters lifelong friendships and helps to keep the wellbeing of our sisters. In order to strengthen our sisterhood, we have at least two sisterhoods a month. Some of these events are very simple and some are extravagant.  Lastly, each semester we have a sisterhood retreat. This retreat can be an overnight event or just a day trip.
 

Our social committee also works hard to plan mixers and socials with other Greek organizations on campus, which gives us the opportunity to meet a lot of new people and try new things!Each social has a theme, and gives sisters an opportunity to dress up and enjoy a night with another group on campus. We also have a date party and a formal each year which are fun events where sisters will get to leave campus and experience a fun day/night outside of campus.
 

Whenever a new pledge class comes into the chapter Each girl will be taken under the wing of an older member to help them through the new member process. Girls will be introduced to their family line and a group of supportive sisters who are so excited to see the new member grow throughout the chapter. 

Every Spring Phi Mu invites the most important people in each of the girls' lives in order to show them the chapter of girls they chose to create a sisterhood with. In the past, Phi Mu has hosted brunches and invited families to baseball games.
